The flagship app of motusBASEBALL, motusTHROW is a smart throwing sleeve and iOS app for baseball pitchers that collects and analyzes key metrics relating to pitching mechanics. Designed to be worn every time you throw, motusTHROW collects 3-Dimensional motion data relating to your every throw to calculate workloads for your arm, and recommends daily training programs to help maintain your arm health and improve your performance. Workload is a method to measure the collective stress placed on the elbow joint. Particularly, workload measures the added stress on the Ulnar Collateral Ligament (UCL) over a seven (acute) and twenty-eight (chronic) day period. Measuring workload helps athletes increase their awareness on overuse by providing actionable data from their throwing habits.
