1.0Your MitID app lets you swipe to log on, to approve transactions and to sign digitally e.g. in your online bank or on borger.dk. ALL NEMID USERS MUST GET MITID Once you are enrolled in MitID, you will be able to use the MitID app. It is your bank that determines when it is your turn to enroll in MitID. You will be notified about your enrolment when you log on to your online bank. If you have an activation code now, you can go ahead and activate your MitID app. WHY MITID NOW? NemID is being replaced by MitID. MitID adheres to the most up-to-date security standards to keep us safe in the future, when we identify ourselves online. E.g. when making money transactions in online banking or logging on to borger.dk. KEEP YOUR NEMID FOR NOW Keep your NemID until further notice. Until NemID is phased out, there will be situations where it is required. Your bank or the Danish Digitization Agency will notify you, when NemID is being phased out.
