App clearly states you are able to do unlimited test edits. Every time I try to upload a photo it takes me to the screen which asks me to purchase for $7.99 per week

It states when it first opens whether you want to pay $7.99 A WEEK or continue with a limited version, so of course, you’re gonna wanna try the limited version. All the limited version is, is a tutorial-ish walk-through via colorizing a picture they furnish of an old Chicago Cub baseball player. If you try to upload your own photos, it opens right into a subscription sales page. It’s rather odd, it lets you pick the photo you wanna work on before leading to the upgrade pitch but you don’t even get to experiment with your photo first to see if the app actually works on any pictures other than the one they picked for you. This app might be worth $1.99, once. Still, if you must have it, make sure you’ve got all the photos you wanna colorized together and just do all of them within a week and just cancel after that, and only pay that once. The developer apparently doesn’t understand the ease with which one could find a comparable product for less than eight bucks as a one time fee. As a matter-of-fact, there is probably one at the bottom of this page under the similar app section.

I downloaded this app on a lark, just to see what it can do. I’ve been researching my family tree so I have a lot of black and white pics to test it on. I’m really surprised by the results! A few pics didn’t turn out very well but they were poor quality to start with. The others have turned out so well, and it’s amazing to see these long lost relatives in color for the first time. I’m so happy with the results!

$7.99 per week is insane for a mobile app. That’s more than Photoshop. Seller needs to offer the product at one price, period. It looks like a promising app, but can’t tell you for sure, because the app takes me to the subscription page before test driving.

Only used it a short while but it is outstanding, I love this app!!
