5.0Med Soap is designed to be a portable medical charting application. For pre-medical and pre- healthcare students shadowing or volunteering in hospitals, use this application to start understanding your patients’ stories through writing clinical notes. This application features the unique ability to utilize the keypad’s microphone to verbally dictate directly into the notes application and to email completed notes to yourself or others. For medical and healthcare students, this is a great way to utilize a portable charting application in the hospitals/clinics when you don’t have access to your hospital’s EMR system. Or if you’re on volunteerism and service trips, use this application to quickly document the patients that you have seen. This application is currently available in English, Spanish and Chinese, so that it can be used internationally. We hope that this application will be helpful to all. Please do not add any patient identifying features (i.e. name, birth date, addresses, descriptions) as this application is not protected by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Developers and contributors of this application will not have access to any data submitted or emailed.
