MASmobile Classic

After reviewing the product documentation, I did not encounter problems with searching. I could search sites and contacts very easily. It's user-friendly design and simplicity is unmatched, and it's possibilities are endless. I look forward to doing more with it, as new versions are released!

Okay, so I'm trying to be as unbiased and realistic about this as possible. The app works as intended. That much is for sure. I do wish, though, that the search function was better. BUT it does have several reoccurring bugs that become annoying very quickly. 1. If you click any button while scrolling the app is almost guaranteed to crash. 2. It will occasionally show a "unable to connect" error which can usually be resolved by disabling the cell radio in settings and turning it back on. 3. It will sometimes crash for no apparent reason. Must restart app and login. And then a personal issue is that the "profile", "systems" and "about" buttons are always up on the overlay and cannot be disabled. For me, this results in frequent accidental presses which can get annoying. Minor hiccup, but still need to point it out. Maybe it will eventually get fixed... So, 3 stars because it does actually work and quite well at that. But I feel like the bugs it does have are a big set back. Crashes and connect errors I feel are serious. If I was just occasional hang ups or freezes then it wouldn't be as bad.

This app is functional, it's ok, it gets the job done. But in such a technically advanced industry surely we can design an app better than this. The search is horrendous... Some kind of overview of an account when I click on it, recent troubles, alarms etc. major events. Not just a list of everything. Maybe a search in the history? Panel type would be nice to know from the app. The GUI is pretty sad as well. Easily updated. This app has been reported to crash some devices... Any remedies? NO UPDATE SINCE OCT 2013 THIS IS HORRENDOUS! FINALLY AN UPDATE: AUG 2015 and guess what? It got even worse. All they did was implement the new iOS theme/layout. No bug fixes or improvements; in fact it is more buggy almost to point where it's easier to just call the central station or use the website. This is atrocious from a "security professional" company. I will probably end up switching central stations because of this app.

This app saves us technicians a lot of call time putting systems on test. I wouldn't change much about the app but the app some times freezes up and will shut down,(which is a pain in the butt)with that issue resolved it would be an everyday tool.

Don't waste your time, keep fighting the page CSS issue's through safari and you will at least get some information without wanting to hurl your phone against the wall. Nothing like having a problem with a panel then getting frustrated at masweb or mobile mas trying to get info in the field.
