Mahjong Gold Solitaire

I have tried over 50 different mahjong games. This version is the ONLY one that has kept my interest and has excitement especially with the "Game of the Day". Loads of backgrounds and THE MOST sets of tiles to challenge the player from any game developer. Other cool stuff includes easily building your own game and a community where you can play games built by other players from around the world. You can play everything without spending a dime or they do offer additional features at super low prices. BUT YOU CAN PLAY EVERYTHING FOR FREE!!!! If you are addicted to Mahjong like I am, you have to try this.

This is a very nice mahjong solitaire app except for three things: 1) it plays the same western music ad infinitum ad nauseum; 2) I've been playing for a few months now and I still don't know what to use the gold coins for; 3) worst of all, if you view ads (other than the ones they're paying you gold coins to watch) the next game has already started and you are penalized for the time you lost on the ad. This is very frustrating with ads that have to run for a set time before you can close them, or ads that don't close the first 20 or so times that you click the close button. I wonder if the advertisers know that we are penalized for watching their ads?

I am having fun with this game. Other Mahjong games require increasingly shorter time requirements on their levels to progress in their game. As a new player of Mahjong, I really appreciate the chance to replay levels to improve my skill and speed in locating the tiles. As for the music, I muted it since I found it annoying over time. This does not in anyway diminish the fun I am having playing the game. One Mahjong game I loaded will not let me mute the music. I will be deleting that one for sure. Great job with this game!!

I used to love this app! It's hard to quit playing. You want to finish just one more level, then one more... update, just one glitch. I can't seem to get on the community boards or receive messages. It's says I'm offline. I connected to Facebook and get ads but there is no setting to check or to reconnect. I can't seem to get reconnected. I've checked my phone settings and everything seems fine. I was connected until I logged into Facebook. I am now adjusting my rating. This is my second update. I have not had a response since my edited review and going on their website and emailing support. This means I have gone from level 500 to 850 with no help! I'm done and moving on to try other apps. Try something else. There is no support for this one when there is a problem.

I have played many mahjongg games over the years. Mahjong Gold is by far my favorite. Relaxing, lovely music combined with well-written, smooth game play make it an excellent choice. Plus, “free” in this game really means just that. *Another reviewer wondered about the gold coins: They are for upgrading decks and backgrounds.* I have had no problems with the ads, and there are less than many other games. Thank you, developers! I will be checking out your other titles.
