Love this app for news and weather! It’s my go to for information. However, I would suggest using black for the lettering on the blue backgrounds. It is difficult to read the white on the light blue background. Needs more contrast. Either darker letters or darker background. Having both light means you have to enlarge the screen to read and some screens don’t enlarge. Please consider changing this minor detail. Thanks for your excellent reporting.

I have had both the news and weather apps for years. No problems. All of a sudden about 3 weeks ago I started getting all the weather push notifications for Cedar Rapids (lightening has been detected in your area) but not really my area. I’m in Waterloo- always have been. I’ve tried everything I could think of to correct that- settings- allow location etc. nothing worked. Now it’s just frustrating. So frustrating I am ready to delete the apps.

The app itself works fine for the most part however the alerts/notifications are super annoying. Most of them are not breaking news and several in the morning are advertising for what they’re showing on the news. The Notifcations should be broken down for ads, informational/sports, and breaking news to allow allow those who don’t care about what’s on Today In Iowa for example at 6:05 AM to turn off select notifications.

I had this updated and now I can't get anything, come to find out they upgraded the ISO from 7.0 to now iSO to 10 to use it and no link to download older version. It's bad enough we lost the channel for awhile, But now can't even use this program.

I looked at the sky the other night it was on highway 20 going south when I looked up in the sky and it was kinda a reddish orange it was really cool, I think I still have a picture of it.
