KTVN 2 News Weather App

Although the old version was better, times they are a changing. I like the look of the new version but my gripe is when you initially open the app. It opens to the radar map. 😳 then you have to go to the drop down menu and select currents and forecast. Why?! When I open a weather app, I want the currents. Not some empty radar map. Am I missing an option to change this? Please tell me.

If you depend on KTVN for weather, your in trouble. This app used to be better but now even the radar map is a joke. Right now it says it’s snowing and shows snow every hour for the rest of the day. It’s true we got maybe an inch or two overnight, but a quick look outside shows clear blue skies all over Reno and it hasn’t snowed for the last 3 hours at least. After I’m done with this review I’m deleting this app and going back to weather bug or even the weather channel. At least they know when the sun is shining.

Like the look of the new version of the new app but I want to open to the current weather and forecast not the map. It’s really not difficult to program that so give us a choice. Come on. You can do it.

Could not be happier with the coverage and constant updates that News 2 provides. Northern Nevada has a ton of changes on a day to day basis with weather and I’m Happy to have an app that helps manage and keep myself and my family up to date on these changes.

Don't waste your time. The old CH 2 app was great! Easy to use. Easy to get the info you wanted. This one is a nightmare. Takes multiple steps to get the simplest of info. Graphics are horrible. Not user friendly in the least. Sorry I ever upgraded. Had no choice when they finally killed the old app. I will be deleting it.
