Knitsy Magazine: The new interactive knitting magazine designed exclusively for the tablet & phone

I’ve been reading Knitsy since the first issue, subscribed, and then stopped. Upgrading to a new iPad and iOS resulted in losing all previous issues in my subscription (including the free ones now asking for $3.99 a piece). Three support requests on both sides of the Atlantic resulted in nothing. Hence, four stars. At least acknowledge your loyal subscriber base, Knitsy!

I got a subscription when it was free and got the first four issues for free. Now not only are those gone and any other free issues I have gotten since, it never recognized that I had a subscription either. Granted I've changed devices and updated the IOS a few times but I've had the same account since my first iPod and iPhone. I've tried to contact the developer but got nowhere. I'm glad I had downloaded a few of the patterns before the issues got erased. But I would like to have those issues so I can look through them again. You would think that these purchases would've been stored and associated with my iTunes account. This needs to be fixed like now!!!

Beautiful magazine, beautiful app. I had no download problems or reading problems, except it was a little hard to navigate back to the app if you visited and advertiser's site. While it is a big download, on high speed internet all three issues took about 1-2 min total. I like the mix of knit and crochet, I liked the way the ads fit in seamlessly, and I have enjoyed the articles and patterns. I hope in the future you have a wide array of designers, difficulty levels, and projects. I find the magazine content to be fun, engaging, and positive, but I think your marketing needs revision. Knitsy has relevant, new info about current designers, other types of fiber artists, techniques, patterns and much more. The pictures flip over for more info and most of navigation is easy. The only drawback is it needs a "back" button to take you back to your last place. Love this and glad I subscribed!

I subscribed to Knitsy with Issue 1 and have had problems all along. When I download one issue and look at the pages, the preview shows the previous issue before finally resolving into the current issue - usually. Sometimes I can’t see the current issue at all. The biggest problem now is that I had all issues on my iPad and now, it’s telling me I need to buy the first 4 - they disappeared! I have written to the developer twice since the 2nd of April and have had no response. Not a happy camper.
