The hotel module now allows hotels to set up travel-desks and kiosks’ to book rides for guests The hotel module in Karry gives hotels the option to use the Karry app to book rides for guests. This can be accessed in 2 forms i.e. travel-desk and kiosk. Travel-desk: Many hotels have a service wherein an employee who sits at or near the reception helps guests book taxis. The Karry hotel module has a section designed particularly for this service. The travel-desk section can be accessed by logging into the ‘Partner’ logins section using a travel desk account. Once the employee of the hotel is logged in, he or she can book rides for employees of the hotel by entering just the Name, Room number and Mobile number of the guest. The travel-desk employee has the option to pay for the cab using either his card or wallet and the guest will pay the employee using cash or card. Kiosk: In case the hotel does not wish to employ a dedicated employee to man the travel desk, they have the option to place the app on a tablet or iPad in the form of a Kiosk. In this, the guests of the hotel will be able to book a ride on their own using the Kiosk. The guest simply has to enter his name, room number and mobile number to book the cab. The guest will only be able to make the payment for the trip using cash directly to the driver.
