What a fantastic app! I can not believe the professional veterinary expertise I was able to get right from home. My 6 month old french bulldog had a rash on his private area and I was also concerned about updating his flea treatment as I normally would go to my vets for this. After sending pictures and explaining the issue I was able to do a video call with a vet/nurse to get some advice. I was fully educated on what the issue was and got great advice on how to treat the skin and update his flea treatment. The best thing was that after receiving a full report after on everything discussed you are able to purchase the recommended items at a very reasonable price (compared to my clinics prices) needed to treat your animal. I really appreciate this service and think it’s absolutely wonderful what they are doing for pet owners. I cannot recommend this app enough, it’s so easy to use, the video call is great and the feedback is quick, professional and helpful. If you are a pet owner definitely download this app! I have a Fox Red Labrador that has had problems with mobility since I rescued him at 5 months old. Despite taking him to my vets on numerous occasions I have been told each time that he is fine. When he was castrated I asked for his joints to be X-rayed as I still believed there was something wrong. I then saw an orthopaedic vet that said there was no need for the Xrays. Still being convinced there was something wrong I thought I’d try Joii and boy I am so glad I did. The vet, Tracy looked at Archie and could immediately see the problem I had been flagging for so long. I was so impressed with how knowledgeable and informative she was and felt so relieved that finally somebody was listening. Tracy put together a physiotherapy course for Archie and even after a few days we had started to notice a slight difference. Thank you so much Tracy you’ve been amazing!

Joii is an easy to use App which allows quick access to speak to a vet or Vetinary nurse via video call. My cat started walking funny during the coronavirus lockdown and within 30 minutes of requesting a consultation, a qualified vet was video calling me to discuss the problem. This was fantastic as given covid19, I was not keen to take my cat to vets when it wasn’t an emergency. At the end of my consultation, medicine was prescribed and it was as easy as buying anything else off the internet. The medicine was then dispatched by first class post the following day. A summary of the advice from the vet is also provided which is very helpful. The whole experience has been fantastic. After a week of being on the medicine, another Vet had contacted me by email to check in on progress. Everyone at Joii is incredibly kind and helpful and I couldn’t recommend them enough. This really is the way forward for so many animals especially as it can save both the stress of your animal going to the vets (over something that can be dealt with remotely) and also means that you can seek assistance at a time convenient for you / without necessarily having to take time away from work too. Thank you.

I get this service free with my Animal Friends per insurance policy, but if it wasn’t free I’d still be happy to pay for it! Access to a nurse or vet in a matter on minutes and excellent advice. In one week I’ve had to use Joii twice. Once for my dogs itching and then today because she’s ripped her Jewclaw. The first occasion for itching I had a very thorough consultation, products recommended which I was able to buy straight from the app and delivered a couple of days later. The consultation today with a vet was excellent too. Currently, we are on lockdown in the UK due to Coronavirus, so to have this service so easily available and not need to have to go out, or wait a week to see a vet at our local clinic is absolutely priceless to me. I’ve have nothing but positive reviews for this app. We have unfortunately had to use it twice to speak with a vet regarding my eldest dog but both times have been professional and quick to the point. They help you through everything making checking your pet so easy. The vets are also very friendly and patient. Having pet insurance through Animal Friendly, we benefit from the free consultations with a Vet but even if we didn’t have this, I would still be more than happy to spend the £20 for the consultation. Once the chat is over, they update a file with your pets notes so that should you need to physically see your Vet, they have everything they need and the notes on what have been discussed previously. Absolutely brilliant!
