Jimboy's Tacos Rewards

The app keeps track of your Jimboy’s purchases. When the total reaches $100, it sets a $10 credit and resets the counter. Too bad the whole process is pointless. The employees don’t know how to apply the credit so I never get to use it. I’ve had this same experience at a couple different locations. No luck. It would be better if they just lowered their prices. I am inclined not to go to Jimboy’s now because of this annoying app.

It’s cool that it keeps track of points the ability to order ahead, and upload balances on cards (even automated preloads, as a single mom of a teen who tends to unwisely spend my $ on other items while out and about with friends that’s meant for food. Now I know he’ll be eating since it’s on his card. Convenience!! ) HOWEVER, I cannot justify 5 stars since I never got my free taco for downloading the app and creating an account, as ADVERTISED! Also why no free item for birthdays? Nearly ALL major food rewards apps include that. (Tip: May want developers to debug the selection for zooming Twitter images from freezing the app. Nbd, rather an annoyance)

I downloaded the app and got a FREE ground beef taco! These tacos are really good, this is a family-owned chain that treats their staff like family, and the staff here is terrific! Nice atmosphere inside which is separate from the gas station, btw. They even have a salsa bar! Next time I’m trying the carnitas taco...then the taquitos! They also serve breakfast, which I didn’t know. They are also expanding to other cities soon! Great little taco-shop-in-a-gas-station place! 👍😎🌮😍

I go to Jimboy’s at least once per week and the employees scan the barcode on my app to earn points. 100 points earns you $10. That is a win/win- delicious food and earn rewards at the same time for future redemption!

Don’t make me enable location services just to place an order. Also, if the app is going to offer a feedback option where it launches a draft email message to send, you might want to make sure it includes an email address to send to!? I tried submitting the feedback survey within the app and the stupid advertisement at the bottom of the survey is covering the submit button!! Grrrrr :( I’m deleting this app now. You don’t need to track my location.
