App crashes repeatedly with iPad Pro 9.7 inch. Please fix it. Previous review (when it worked): The sound quality and custom features make this a stellar app that far surpasses Apple's stock app for playing music on iPad and iPhone. Now it just needs a Recently Added view including the option to play "All" from that view. Imagine someone is on a solo road trip and playing music via the app through the car's 3.5 mm aux audio system. The sound quality is superb, but the driver wants to listen to all of her recently added songs without having to keep tapping on the iPad from one album to the next. Another needed option is a third album art view. As it is now, we can choose between too big or not quite big enough. It still looks much better than Apple's stock player's art. I can live quite happily with the current two options, but then again another view option would be awesome. My request to update the app to play high resolution music and with album art has been fulfilled. Thank you. And Apple has met my other request to offer an iPad with 256 GB of storage. This is a superb music player, especially now that it has landscape mode for iPad. It offers the option of selecting the excellent Bongiovi sound enhancer, which I supplemented with the optional Phoenix sound profile. Highly recommended.

So they added a message when u add a track to Now Playing, good. It does lots of other things right too. I would even buy the plugin to get rid of ads but last time I did, it broke the music browser by hiding the menu bar and removing the swipe to add a track to Now Playing. I emailed them but never heard back so who knows, maybe they fixed it, maybe not. Guess I’ll keep my $3.99. I do wish any of these music apps had an option to say “Are you really sure you want to clear the Now Playing list that u just spent 30 mins creating” when you accidentally hit a track name instead of swipe to add, it is so annoying when a list just vanishes and gets replaced by every track on album instead. Would it be that hard? It would also be good if u could save the whole Now Playing list as a Playlist instead of having to go thru the list adding each track one a time to a playlist. Duh! Anyhow, hope the Jet people pay more attention to their Apple reviews more than they do to their support emails or the broken link to their facebook page.

I’ve used at least 10 different iOS music apps. They don’t even come close. In addition to all the standard features you expect in a music app, let me explain why this app is amazing. AB repeat - want to repeat just a part of a song, this is the only music app I’ve found for free that does this. Want to speed up or slow down playback - this is one of the few free apps that’s lets you do it. Need an equalizer - you got it. Need hifi support - you got it. Need a simple sound effect editor - you got it. Need a sleep (stop playing) or wake (start playing) timer - you got it. Need WiFi sharing - you got it. This app has all of the features you find in other apps and offers it in one package. The biggest con is probably the interface. By no means is it ugly, but it can feel cluttered due to all the features the app has. Ultimately you’re not getting a better music app for free. This is the one.

I love the Iphone app. It was worth every penny. I don’t mind paying even more. However, I have some suggestions. Wish there was an option when you select ‘artist’, merge all the ‘unknown albums’ together. It’s quite annoying to see some of the unclassified songs taking up so much screen space, because it organizes those songs as all different albums. Second, can you PLEASE have the ‘year’ information somewhere on the screen? I know most of my songs have the year information embedded in the file already, but I cannot find them in JetAudio AT ALL. Plus, I’m really waiting for Apple Watch version. Current problem of Apple Music app on Apple Watch is that you can only go to the ‘playlist’ level. You cannot select ‘playlist’ and find an individual songs. If you make this possible, I’ll be willing to spend more money purchasing that option. Last, improve your app icon. It looks pretty bad. Why people would use this app from the beginning? Because these app developers (JetAudio) make this categorization of music much better than Apple Music does.

This app is excellent. Put on your best headphones and dive in. Don’t even consider not buying the add-ins. Truly the best I’ve tried. And you can save many settings and even have different settings that switch automatically depending on how you’re listing - headphones, Bluetooth speaker etc. If you’ve only used the native eq settings, be prepared to want to listen to all your favorites as if for the first time ever. Yep, it’s that good. Having purchased at least 8 other paid eq apps over the past several years, I can say there are some other decent ones, but this one is simply at a whole different level.
