I have been using this app since the first version was released. I am in love with the new version because it's seamless and functional across the board. I don't even notice that I'm using it while reading Amharic text on other apps like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and so on. I enjoy reading jokes and sayings which make a lot more sense in their original context. 😊I highly recommend it.

I have been using this app for many years. It's a wonderful app that can be used easily. But, the current version doesn't work unless the user selects "full access" when downloading which allows the app developers to collect personal data including any texts typed, credit card numbers used and location information. These causes a huge risk on the users. Unless the developers of the "itype Amharic" app explicitly guarantee that they don't collect any user information and stop asking users to grant them "full access" on their devices I don't recommend this product for nobody. I have deleted this app from my phone after I knew that they are very risky to use.

People, it is only $1.99! I'm glad I didn't followed the net Sayers , my friends & I love this app. You can send Amharic text to anyone, to any smart phones, iPads, computers.... Most of all, at this critical time and age we should encourage this kind of innovation for the well being of one of the oldest language of all, AMHARIC. Keep it up, a lot of us are behind you!

Our educated professional individuals should have done this long time a go....but it is good start though! When I open my iPhone's language preference, I see all alphabets , but not ours & feel very sad! Anyways , it is a good start & I hope we will use our alphabet very soon! Great job thx!
