Insense: Brand Collabs

There are a bunch of these creator platforms and at first I didn't really want to try yet another one. But once I checked it out, it's just a nicer more efficient app and experience. The app's easy to use, and I can share campaigns with friends through the app. The Facebook account authorization seemed a little weird at first, and I'm not totally sure why all that is required.

Found this app after being served an Instagram ad for it. When you sign up for the app, it has you create a price for your sponsored posts. It's never clear what types of posts this is for. After blindly putting in a price before you know what opportunities it applies to, the app gives you a lowball suggestion indicative of what theses "opportunities" will end up paying. You still don't know what opportunities this price applies to at this point. Once in the app, there may be one or two poorly written opportunities for sponsored posts that are riddled with fragments and spelling errors. A 3-day countdown starts as soon as you see these. This countdown will spark numerous push notifications and seemingly urgent emails about how you're missing out on these brand collaboration opportunities that aren't even clear enough to understand what you would actually be posting. Last, I'm unable to delete or deactivate my account. If you try and log in to the company's website using your login, you are immediately directed to the Russian link for the app in the iTunes store. The FAQ's are unhelpful and feel like they have been translated to English from another language. After several unanswered emails to fix this, I'm very unhappy with my experience with Insense. I'll be blocking the email address for these email blasts and removing the app from my phone.

Usually brands approach me via Instagram direct. I don't like 3rd party services cause they usuall put extra cost on top of my fee. On Insense brands see the exact price I set for each particular campaign, no extra percentage. Plus I can chat directly with the brand through the app, just like I have them on messenger. That kind of transparency is awesome, and I'll be giving Insense a chance.

This company is not upfront with potential users! In the description of the app they should stated how many users or followers you have on your social platform . They let you sign up , link your social platforms and then you have to wait on approval. Be aware if you have less then 16,000 followers you not good for them!!! Plus they send you email with explanations why they did not choose you in foreign language! Besides during process of approval they copy down all your followers! This company discriminated based on someone’s social media platforms!

At first I didn't really understand how brands on Insense run ads, but now I see that brands are boosting my content and profile to their audiences. At first it seemed weird, but turns out this is getting my IG in front of tons of new people who are interested in the kind of content I make. I'm actually getting more views and followers since starting Insense, which is cool.
