After using Ingenious Med and PMD I would certainly favor the latter as a superior product. Interface is clunky, we have to re-enter ICD-10 diagnostic codes every admission, and just seems to take longer. No historical data embedded. We found workflow for sign-outs impossible to use. Generates a patient list that is now unmanageable since providers find it difficult to put patients in an inactive status. Sub specialists and surgeons have declined to use it after a trial period.

Our group started using IM and the effect was immediate. Our billing times were reduced to 24 hours - mostly because the app is always available. We do have suggestions for their tech team and we usually have an update to our issues within the next 24-48 hours.

This app does one thing good: waste physicians’ time by repeatedly, and I mean repeatedly crashing. And when not crashing, it is slowly updating the cache, only to again crash. Any enterprise with business sense should get rid of this and instead hire real billers who would properly bill, and appropriately obtain higher revenue, and reduce risk of consequential misbilling, e.g. when dealing with Medicare.

The app is extremely intuitive and speeds up the charge capture process to get the bills out the door much faster than the EMR!

Copying from previous bill has been removed and contacted tech support multiple times. They seem to lack understanding of the app and have to be explained multiple times to even listen to you . For everything their solution is perform sync, delete app and restore. Which all have been done before contacting tech support. Now they close the case with out even fixing the issue. Now there are too many clicks to do a follow up billing. After contacting tech support multiple times for a week they seemed to understand the problem and it is now working as it should.
