I really like this app already- allows me to get ideas down, group them visually, and quickly modify/rearrange to help me determine how to get actionable. It's intuitive and simple. I started creating 3mins after downloading, and I'm already happy with the output of what I started wrestling with this morning at 3:30am. Here are some ideas for future updates: - it would be really cool to have the ability to create layers that allowed you to go deeper into a particular idea. Any sticky could be turned into a new project board that was linked with the original high level map. The daughter and parent boards could be linked for easy movement between the two layers - I'd like to have add'l ways to visually group beyond color. Thinking of something simple like being able to add a small icon to the corner of similar stickies, for example a "star" to the notes that I want to pursue further - I'd like to be able to create a copy of the entire board to be able to refine mind maps without losing earlier versions - I'd like to be able export notes to my Reminders Thanks for a great free app, and for implementing any of these ideas!

A host of small issues. Here's an annoying one: Still works only in landscape mode. Really? After all this time, I can only imagine that this must be someone's abandoned project.

It works, technically, but feels flawed as lines are slow to draw and the app has an air of being incomplete. Nice idea.

I use this app to map circuits in my computer design class. It works brilliantly for symbolic logic. HINTS: -Zoom in when writing by hand for smoother, more legible handwriting. -Pause a couple seconds between strokes when close together to avoid creating a note. REQUESTS: -new means of adding note. Double tap screws up my writing rhythm -allow note background to be photos from album (then user can define new colors or post pictures onto boards) -add alarms to notes for a cool reminder feature -allow adjustment of note size, font size, and font color -allow handwriting on notes -I don't know if I just don't know how, but I'd like to edit my board titles after it's been saved Mostly, I'd love it if this app merged with BugMe! Both are cool, but both seriously lack what the other has. This app has a lot more flexibility with the board (love the multiple boards, writing on board, etc.), but needs work with notes and user-friendly choices. The handwriting "look" isn't as smooth and elegant as BugMe! unless you zoom in and out to write. Overall good concept, but could use major updating.

This app allows for brainstorming, mind-mapping and planning out of ideas - but with a twist - the iPad app has a companion iPhone/iPod touch app where you can write sticky notes and then flick them with you finger over to the iPad iBrainstorm work space. So in a class, you could have the master iBrainstorm planning space being projected onto a big screen via the apps VGA out support, with 4 students representing 4 small groups writing sticky notes summarising a topic the groups are investigating 'flicking' the sticky notes to the iPad where another student arranges them, with the whole process appearing live on the big screen. Oh, did I mention its free?!
