Hypno Cam

Yes, the “PHHHOTO” app closed its virtual doors to the public when it went offline (but thankfully left the app for us to continue using) but HYPNO definitely takes its place as one of the most unique experiences a photo app can offer. It doesn’t offer the “editing” type tools that every other photo app offers but instead it turns your vids into incredible music videos for the profiles artists it features. Although shortening or mixing clips would be pretty cool, this app on its own and for what it is is well deserving of a 4 star rating (if it had those very few edit tools it would be a 5) and I’ve switched over many of my friends who always asked me what app I used to make my clips. So while PHHHOTO is gone, yes I’m still mourning, HYPNO is for sure worth the download! Thanks guys!

I absolutely love this app and I enjoy making videos and montages with it! But you guys are missing one crucial feature, video editing. I would love to be able to chose spots where it would zoom into rather then it go off camera or zoom in too much or be able to shorten or lengthen it and maybe throw in some captions as a feature! Take note from an app called Quik cause if u had those features, your app would be insanely popular. Otherwise keep up the great work and hopefully my idea gets put into an update!

I really do enjoy this app and the video effects, but to be honest the only thing holding me back from giving this a a 5 star rating is the fact that the video edit choices haven’t changed since the app first came out in 2017. It’s 2019 now so I don’t think it’s that wild of users to expect more variety by now. Another thing that I feel this app is missing is a customization aspect. This app could be amazing If users could choose the music & effects they wanted to put on their videos. I feel as if the concept is there but it’s lacking a little and not meeting its full potential.

When I first found this app I was stoked because, as a musician, you're always looking for new ways to promote your art. I thought this would be able to add cool effects to my tracks and make people more interested. However you can only use songs chosen for you. This is very limiting and makes this app nothing more than a gimmick. If you could add a function allowing you to import songs from iTunes, that would make this so much better for everyone.

From their privacy policy you are basically giving them ownership of video. The original and the hypno version.
