5.0Rabbi Zamir Cohen born 1965 in Jerusalem is the chairman of Hidabroot organization and the producer of the first Jewish television channel in Israel. Rabbi Zamir Cohen was born and raised in the Beit Yisrael neighbourhood in Jerusalem. He learned and acquired his Semikhah from the Porat Yosef Yeshiva and was appointed the head of Yeshiva after a short while. After the appointment, Cohen set up the "Hidabroot" organization, to bring and spread the Torah's knowledge in Israel and the world. In the beginning of 2008, the organization produced the first religious orthodox television channel which offers in part, Rabbi Zamir Cohen's lectures and shows.
