Firstly I’d like to say that the new updates are great I like the optimisation of it all but one thing that seems to be buggy is the payments. I recently purchased doctor sleep tickets and first my card got declined but HOYTS Sydney showed up on my account transactions as $1 has been deducted which isn’t normal then I tried to purchase again and it worked finally. I don’t have a problem over $1 but it could be happening to more people than just myself. Thank you

In order to ‘save time’ (as advertised by HOYTS) at the cinema, I purchase a food package along with our tickets. Only to find we had to queue up at a very busy ice-cream shop at Chadstone VIC Hoyts, outside the cinema instead of getting the food package inside the cinema as we walked through like everyone else who didn’t pre-purchase. The popcorn was cold and we had to wait 25 minutes to get served which made us late for the movie. Meanwhile everyone who didn’t have to wait. They picked up their freshly made popcorn and drinks paid at one of the multiple check out points (which took approximately 5 minutes) and then walked straight through into the cinema to watch their movie. So frustrating. Do not pre-pay food on this app. It takes so much longer. Not sure about other HOYTS cinemas but Chadstone have a long way to go to get it right when it comes to a quicker process consumers.

Got a notification about a week ago—can’t find what it’s for as there’s nothing obvious within the app. Noticed I have a message, tried to delete it as I’ve read it... it won’t delete no matter what I do. Honestly probably better off just using their website.

When joining doesn’t require entry of password twice so could enter password incorrectly but no validation. Won’t allow you to select the free membership option. When you are forced to select a paid membership option it won’t process credit card and no info provided on what the problem is. Can’t even book online using a phone -forces you to use the app. I give up. I’m going to Dendy instead.

I downloaded the app for a while, first it was fine. However, it always shut down by itself immediately I opened it. I am sooooo disappointed. I gave it another try, download it again. But still, disappointed. Now I cannot even see what movies are showing at the official website cause they ask me to download the app which I couldn’t open. That’s so funny.
