The app assists you with setting up a new HOOBS server, discovering and installing new plugins, visually editing the configuration, installing updates and more. What is Homebridge / HOOBS? Homebridge is an open source software written by a large community to provide HomeKit support for almost any smart device on the market. Homebridge works as a bridge between your physical Smart Home devices and HomeKit. Once the setup is completed, you can control your non-certified HomeKit devices in any HomeKit app and with Siri. Since Homebridge itself requires deeper technical knowledge for installation and configuration, a small team around the world has developed HOOBS. HOOBS 3 is an all-in-one software that contains a customized and extended version of Homebridge. It is designed to be more user-friendly and introduces new outstanding improvements such as certified plugins, a mobile API, new improved visual configuration standards and much more. How to get started? In case you do not have a Homebridge or HOOBS server running yet, we will guide you interactively through all necessary steps. Our setup assistant will show you the different HOOBS products available and also has an integrated guide for each product. You can choose between an "out of the box" server for inexperienced users, a pre-flashed SD card or the free image for expert users. Does the app cost anything? You can try the app for 14 days free of charge and without any restrictions or payments. After this period, you can decide if you want to continue using the app. If so, we have two fair one-time payment licenses available for you. Take a look at the details right inside the app. As already mentioned, the app is community oriented. Due to this fact even the license structure was chosen by a community vote. Where can I get help? We try to help every user for free via Email, Facebook Support Group, Facebook Messenger, Reddit, Twitter and on GitHub. What features does the app include? We don't offer a complete feature list, as the app's functionality is dynamically based on the connected systems. Not all systems support all types of features.
