Hirewire - Job Search

I didn’t believe the hype of hirewire, but I’ve never been so happy to be wrong 😂. After a couple weeks, and a few different interviews, I actually landed a position the day I interviewed and I have no experience, but I’m excited to gain some in this new position. I would suggest you call ahead to confirm because the first interview I went to, the hiring manager didn’t even show up. But that’s on the restaurant not hirewire. My only critique is that I wish there were more options outside of restaurants. I’m sure over time this will get better as more companies begin to use it

Honestly I saw this app on an ad on Instagram. I’ve been looking for a job since summer 2019 started. I’ve been cold calling and using “Indeed” app. LISTEN! Find a job using this app fast because indeed is wayyy to popular that companies don’t use them anymore. Secure yourself and use this app. Don’t tell anyone about it as well, because they might take your job opportunity. Secure yourself before this app blows up. The waiting list on the indeed app is +500 people. So secure yourself. I got a job in 3 days. But worry about yourself first, then tell a friend about it.

Ive applied to many jobs via hirewire and have messaged managers, gotten interviews to jobs you wouldnt get the chance to get using the usual route, and ive been hired through this app. Love this app. I will always use it when job searching. I WISH it would let me filter jobs and adjust mileage and change job history through the app. But it works fine otherwise.

I want to first tell you look at all the positive reviews. So short and overly positive; obviously fake. “5 mins and have multiple interviews” when the app takes far more time asking you for a ridiculous amount of personal info. I know, I know, it needs it for a resume of sorts, but the REQUIRED video introduction and other things are unnecessary for the minimum wage jobs they offer you. And after all that info, it can’t show me a job less than 40 miles away. Not to mention they are all above my age limitation. This app was a waste of time and a waste of me giving them my data that they now will sell.

Hirewire gets you interviews set up and make sure you are ready to go when interview time comes. They keep you reminded about it so you are on time and then they update you if you got the job! It is a very great app and I would recommend it to anyone on a job search or even if you are looking for a better position.
