Heartbeat for Ambassadors

In theory this app is would be great. And I really enjoy working with the brands that you can apply for campaigns with. However the amount of time between when you receive a product and when you are expected to post is extremely rushed. It’s like they don’t want the consumers to even test or become familiar with the product. You get rude emails and texts counting down to posting deadlines. I recently got 4 campaigns with a posting deadline within one week, while other times I will go months without a campaign. It seems like they only care about what is best for them and not the influencers which I think ultimately will effect brands.

Hard to leave a positive review when you can’t even login to use the app. I tried restarting my phone, uninstalling an reinstalling app and every time I login in with my Instagram account I get “error client disabled” message repeatedly and even then once you get that you can’t track back it won’t go back to home screen, even on the website. For app I literally have to restart my phone to get back to home screen, not worth the head ache, time or battery life. ONTOP of that it’s hard to get any kind of response from the the support team. I emailed an got no response, I did the live chat each time he automatically says hi can I help you? So I put my question 10 minutes later it said I was transfer to June 5 mins later still no response to my question it got to the point where I had to set my phone down to make my kids lunch an corse my phone went off bc it wasn’t in use an I lost connection tried again second time it was June but wait for 20 minutes no freakin response to my question, none to hello??? Anyone there??? So pretty much their live chat is a joke, no one is there. Horrible customer service and I haven’t even started yet. Think I’ll be looking else where this was a complete waste of my time I can’t believe it was recommended.

Good luck getting your payments. They lie & say they have submitted the payment & you never receive the money. Also, good luck getting anyone to answer you back from support. I wonder if the brands know that this company is just pocketing their money. UPDATE: After waiting for months & being told by a guy named Jose that he wasn’t sending a payment out today. I finally received my payment. Took forever. Now I get NO campaigns ever. Just the email saying ‘don’t get discouraged’ LOL. I also noticed it’s the same influencers getting the campaigns over & over, just go look at the businesses tags for the campaign. All the same skinny little hippie looking white girls. They give the crappy campaigns to the rest of the people here & there. Low pay rates, bad customer service, & discriminate is why I stopped using this company. They also pay for a lot of the 5 star reviews on here so be careful. Hard pass.

Over the last few months, this app has gone downhill fast. They used to be quick about accepting you into campaigns, payment, etc. Now, if you don’t get accepted into a campaign, zero response, and if you do get into one, they don’t always review or pay. Their customer service used to be amazing, but recently I’ve written 2x and crickets. Seems like they want you to do the work, but once you do, they have no desire to do anything on their part (pay you). I also find it strange, that when they email about campaigns you’ve been accepted to, they asked you not to respond back. When working on other campaigns outside heartbeat, I have great communication with the customer. I love the ease of the app, but the overall process needs to go back to the way it was.

It used to be they gave you a chance to do campaigns even if you were a smaller account now they urge you to sign up for everything even though really unless you have a ton going on with your account you’re not getting anything it’s really sad I’ve been with heartbeat for over a year and only done two campaigns Influenster is way better while you don’t get paid you at least get products and the chance to actually do stuff if you’re not going to pay much attention to smaller accounts have a minimum follower requirement then that’s all I’m saying **BUT I’ve had no issues with receiving payment for the two campaigns I did get by the way so it’s not a scam I can’t talk for others but when they say my money will be there it’s there** the app is very glitchy though I prefer not to use it
