Healthe SunTrac

First, this app lets you control a Healthe light bulb, but basic instructions are seemingly nowhere to be found, and ARE NEEDED. You can turn the light on and off with the little O/I buttons. The left slide works as a dimmer, so you can adjust the brightness of the bulb. The right slide lets you choose the color of the light, from the amber-y color appropriate before bed, to the bluish white for daytime. In order to use the app to control the light, turn the light on, then tap on the “advanced” option on the app screen. Tap “pair,” and your light will flash a few times. Now you can control the light with the app. I really like the ability to control my bedside lamp so well, and am evaluating the quality of my sleep using appropriate nighttime lights (and blue light blocking glasses). The dimming and color changing options on the app are great, once you figure it out! I’d like the ability to not only add rooms, but name devices (his/hers) and group them into rooms, and to be able to delete a room and rename it. When playing with the app, I added a room...but then couldn’t figure out how to remove it and ended up reinstalling the app as I fumbled my way through the process. Overall, there are improvements needed with the app, primarily in terms of instructions, but I really like the features I’ve figured out how to use thus far.

Instructions are seriously lacking. I put the bulb in the lamp and turned it on then went through the steps to pair it. It flashes and since it was night time, started with the amber light. I turned the light off when I left the room. In the morning When I turned it on it was still amber, even though it was well past the time I inputted into the setting for wake up time. I turned it off and on again and then it was the blue light. It’s been that way ever since even though it’s now only 4 hours till bed time. The UI on the app does nothing.
