Haven What's On

My family and I have been going to Haven sites for the last 10 years. The app is a good idea. We have used it the last 2 years to keep track of our up coming holidays etc. This year I have gone to put my sun holiday details in for our 7 night stay with you and this year it won’t allow me to store the 2 separate holidays at the same park. Last year it wasn’t a problem but it is this year. Please fix it as it makes life easier paying for things etc on the app thank you

My family started going to haven somewhere in the late 80s I think and we’ve been going every year since. It’s was hard to have to carry a paper map and etc with us most of the time on the site until I found the Haven What’s Up app around 3 years ago. I have never deleted it off my iPhone because I don’t want to forget to download it again. I love that there’s the map, there’s activities reminder so if me and my family wants to go to our favourite buzz live shows then we don’t forget. When I downloaded the app years ago my family started to see how amazing the app is and now me, my uncle, sister, brother, mother and my farther all have the apps and it’s always a conversation starter. When we’re in the caravan I get asked “what’s on in the live lounge today?” My grandmother, “I don’t know.” My uncle, “Kyle can you have a look on your phone?” Me, “sure” See it’s a conversation starter. It would be nice if there was more pictures in the gallery and maybe a chat box that would directly go to a haven staff to ask questions or to ask for someone to come over to the caravan because of a problem or if we need something, because every year we need some help with the caravan. Everyone in my family doesn’t like that but to me it’s feels homey and that’s what makes haven an haven. It’s unique and special. Thanks for providing me and my family as wells as other family’s in the UK with amazing comfort and accessibility!

Actually loved the app for checking what’s on and all the info you could need about the park - have used it before and no issues - however in Aug 2020 due to COVID had to use it to book all activities... worked fine first 2 days of holiday then after that completely stopped working. Deleted and reinstalled on phone, deleted cache on phone, unsalted on different phone, installed on iPad and not a single one would let me select any event even though said there was capacity available. Lost all my swimming pool bookings. Spoke to reception who tried to get it to work and they couldn’t either so they ended up manually booking all events via till which they said they weren’t supposed to do. App seemed to think I (or my holiday) didn’t exist. Not sure if anyone else had similar problems. Also just a side note not so much about this app but in general at Haven - you now need 3 different apps on your phone - this one to book events and for park info, another one to book table or food from restaurants, and then a 3rd to order drinks from show bar.... I really do hope if this is the new normal they can combine into one app that caters for the whole holiday oh and actually works!!!

Since my daughter was born with have been making it a once a year holiday for our family, my little girl is 2 and we went in 2017 and last year when I was heavily pregnant with my baby boy who is now 10 months old and he will be 13 months when we arrive. We booked our holiday today for July and we can’t wait. The app is great as you can set reminders for what you can do on the days of your stay, you can also book tables for restaurants and events and activities. It gives you a map of your chosen park and also it has directions on how to get there. It’s a great app to use for your stay, it tells you what’s on and what times the events are on. If you are going to haven anytime soon I would recommend this app.

Even though we thought it wouldn't be free, The app for our park site advertised the bingo as free. But we were disappointed that it was £5 or £10 a book and then £1 for a dabber, so rather than paying for four individuals we doubled up to save money. Might have been nice for a heads up! The app doesn't have a map of the park either which would have been useful. The app is also hard to navigate. And there wasn't up-to-date info on the activities and entertainment (for Tuesday night it simply said 'speciality act') So as far as 'what's on', it wasn't too useful or accurate!
