The app has a lot of problems it does not work the iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone XS Max I have an iPhone 7 and it works fine I have tried to contact customer support many times with no response also Saudi Arabia is not supported in the country region. Additional review after 1 year of waiting they fixed the issue and now the app is working for every phone including iPhone Xmax and iPhone 7 Plus but still Saudi Arabia is not supported.

I bought a 4 head mini split system. The hardware is fine mostly. But the app!!! Buggy, and Instructions badly translated into bad English ( WHY don’t these companies invest in decent translators??). Our mini splits have wireless AND wired controls. It appears the app is powerless to make changes ( mode, temperature, fan speed, etc) when you have a wired control panel. 🤦‍♂️ UPDATE: it turns out the wired controllers our distributor sold us are NOT compatible with the wifi module. Removing the wired controller allowed the app to control thd units. HOWEVER since the last update, 90% of the time any attempt to change a setting via the app now results in a “network time out” or the unit show disconnected on the app. I’m downgrading my rating from 3 to 2 stars accordingly.

I bought a new home appliance and found that the setting is more convenient. I quickly connected to the device. There are prompts for the entire process. It is very convenient for the mobile phone to control the device! Connected to the device, very happy. I hope Gree will take more and more new technology

Parents are not very familiar with the use of smartphones for the air conditioners bought for their parents' homes, but they are using them very well under the guidance of the APP, and have not encountered any problems for the time being.

The app connects and functions for our single Gree indoor unit. Since the controller is not a programmable thermostat, I was hoping this app would do that; it does not. It can set on and off times but no corresponding temperatures can be set. Also, I haven’t seen any integration with Nest or other whole house systems to help maintain an efficient running house. It would be great if the WiFi unit could connect to Nest or another piece of hardware directly so that a wired connection wouldn’t have to be made to a remote thermostat.
