It wouldn’t be my favourite method of revision as the podcasts seem rather boring and tiring. They don’t cover topics properly, and they don’t repeat the information which makes it harder to remember. The download feature doesn’t work correctly, which means I’m only able to revise when I have a strong WiFi connection, when I would quite like to listen to podcasts outside my house, on the bus or on Holiday etc. The layout of the whole app is completely confusing, as there are many glitches within the whole app. It would be great if you could tick or mark what podcasts you’ve already listened to, to keep track of what you’ve listened to and what you still need to revise. And a notification of tick to show you’ve completed the set assignments. In addition to this, if you could enlarge the video to the size of your screen whilst watching a podcast it would make it a lot easier to see and concentrate on the content given.

I’m my opinion, GCSEpod is awful. The app is glitchy and sometimes crashes, making the app close itself. The whole ‘making a playlist’ is utterly confusing for a first time user. I’m trying to make a playlist but it’s difficult as it’s hard to choose what lessons you want and you don’t really know how to make a playlist because it keeps saying ‘your playlist needs a name!’ But there’s nowhere to put the name! You don’t know how to do it and it’s frustrating since you just want to make a simple playlist. The videos are a bit monotonous so it’s quite boring to listen. Overall, do as you please, get the app if you’d like and try it out yourself. It might work for you.

It’s okay? The voices are really monotone and boring and makes me tired listening to it, but they give lots of information. I have 2 annoyances though: 1) Autoplay isn’t working for me? I have to keep pressing the “next” button when I’m watching long strings of videos which is really irritating 2) I can’t see the individual pods I’ve watched before. This is annoying because I have a really bad memory and I don’t want to watch the same few pods over and over again because I’ve forgotten which ones I did and didn’t watch

After recently finishing my exams (last one was yesterday) I can positively say that this app has helped loads! Pods provided have a clear audio that uses key information which is easy to understand that was needed for the GCSE's Pods are also kept short which I found helpful as I didn't get bored when listening. I would definitely recommend this app to everyone who has GCSE's coming up in a year or so. The Pods are very convenient and I feel like I understand the information given, not just remembered it. 😊

This app is great for revision and gives me so much information. The only problem I have is that in the ‘assignments’ section, it doesn’t get rid of things you’ve already watched. This makes me confused because I don’t know if I’ve watched a set of pods or not, and if there is evidence that I have. Apart from this, it is a fantastic app. I love the fact that there is voices, text and pictures for different types of learners and everything is explained simply yet with so much detail. I use it so much
