GATEMatrices is the first and only app that prepares your child for the visual reasoning component of gifted and talented education (GATE) qualification tests. All GATE qualification tests include matrix-based pattern recognition. These visual reasoning skills are considered the purest form of intelligence because they correlate well with a wide variety of other cognitive abilities. GATEMatrices is modeled on Raven’s Progressive Matrices, one of the oldest and most widely used tests of visual reasoning. GATEMatrices generates dozens of variations of each puzzle available in the app. Their underlying structure is also explained visually, ensuring your child learns pattern-recognition and problem-solving skills, not just the correct answers.
