Gaana Music - Songs & Podcasts

I absolutely love the new update! Gaana was a good app from the start no doubt about that but if I wanted to sing along I had to search in Google or install other music apps that had that features. I’d always come back to this but having to add other apps or searching on Google was a bit inconvenient. Now it has also given the option of customising how the lyrics would look according to how we would like it to be and that’s like the best upgrade it has come up with this far. I’m hoping more improvements in the future with more newer updates 👍🏻

I was using this app for some years now and I have to say it was an awesome experience apart from some small glitches which we can understand. All those wonderful experience ended in one day, one day my application got crashing out. Whenever I select any song to play, it shows a loading sign for some time and then crashes down. I tried many times and it happened again and again. Thus I was no longer able to use this application anymore. The hardest or unacceptable thing happened was there application support service. It's been now around 4 months now and still, the issue is not solved. I have sent them the video recording of the issue, my phone specifications all the details still nothing happened. All these things are happening with a paid customer, I don't know what will happen if we are not paying. this incident forced me to think and I would suggest all the users out there to try some other application if you want to get served for what you are paying. Conclusion:- All good when it works, when you face any issue you are screwed. Mine was first issue and I am pretty much done with this app, after seeing their service.

I use free membership and found that this is the service could be good for me so I opted for gaana membership. I really liked the recommendations app gives. They are exactly what I like. But there are few inconvinient things that make this service irritating: 1. Playlist management from laptop's browser- I have habbit of making mood based playlists. But from browser whenever I tried to add any song to a playlist I aleays get pop up message that 'verification mail has been sent to your mail id'. I am not sure what is the logic behind this however I can do the same thing seamlessly through ios app. 2. You can build your playlist but can't find it- You can build your playlist seamlessly through app but I never found it when I want to play it. What a foolish design? I always get song recommendations but we build playlists for a reason. Recommendations are not always helpful. Playlists should be found easily. 3. Poor customer service- I talked to customer service for the problem mentioned in point 1. I got instant reply asking me to share the screenshot. Good till here. But after sharing that I did not even got the acknowledgement. I am still hoping since a week that they will reply to my query. If they take care of above things I will raise my ratings.

I am an adult and like to play all genre songs, which has explicit content. I am using iOS and the explicit content filter stays enabled regardless of it being disabled or enabled. My songs filters every explicit content and that killes the music. It’s very annoying and sad that I can’t listen to my fav artists alike Eminem and all because on Gaana because of this. I have asked for the support and they kept asking me to turn off the filter which is already on disabled mode. And they can’t seem to understand that simple thing. After many attempts they came up with the solution “we will fix the issue in next update. Guess what I got update twice after that and the issue has not been resolved. We are in 2019 guys. Get some help team Gaana. Hopefully you guys can improve on this to retain your users on Gaana.

First of all Big big thank you for giving me chance to explain my feeling abt this application. The best music application ever for me becoz this application provide lyrics and best sound quality of all songs. Second thing is that we listen premium songs also here. No other application provide these thing by which make worth application to this. I recommend to all my friends this application via whatsapp that they can use this application and feel better. " Change your Music application .....not your Music" this line is for all non users of Gaana application. Thank you😋
