AFTER HOOOOOURS OF PLAYING, Fury Roads:Survivor is an addicting game, now now that sounds pretty cliche xD but it really is, with assortments of cars to play with, having their own movement patterns, health and speed its really dynamic, ive unlocked three out of four maps so far and the arena is a godsend, probably how i earned most of my oil and got most of the cars and gears, its pretty generous of the devs to even put it in, having oil everywhere. Lemme give you pros and cons
+As Mentioned before, the vehicle variations are dynamic, and some even have hidden abilities, such as the Adam west inspired batmobile and Aero, allowing bursts of speed,Other vehicles have really different movement patterns and handling,i usually use the Big Torino, having a good drift and response time, other vehicles also have a smaller turn radius, some even can just turn around 90 degrees perfectly
-The more rare vehicles, being the Mysterious and Uncommon(funnily the rarity before Mysterious making it second last)I find lackluster,i dont find them useless but the first few hours in playing, i was notified that i have unlocked Pulse, and i do realize you have to find a way to unlock the mysterious vehicles and items,(dont know if it was intended)but for example when i unlocked the Meth and Hunting Rifle weapons and use them for a time, Bad RV and 50.Cal was unlocked and thrown into the Item Rolls,i am still not sure if it was intended, but i did not realise it was correlated, when i put two and two together it was just common sense, though a BIG turn off was when i finally got my hands on the Mysterious vehicles(And some uncommons),I thought they would have special abilities, but in my experience they just have an absurb health pool and 2 out of 4 of them are pretty slow, and one particular uncommon was the DeLorean(i dont remember the In Game Name),i reaaaaly expected some sort of ability, but nothing really happened, i tried to pair it with other items such as the NO2 and the EMP but nothing Entailed, as such as the mysteriouses,Having a price tag when locked somewhat is misleading, but having unlocked everything by play time, it was pretty nice.
+Very endearing pop culture references for items and vehicles,i recognised the ones i knew(the really obvious ones really XD) and it always brings a smile to my face really connects to me when i’m using the vehicles and makes the game more enjoyable, several more not soo vague but not so direct examples would be my favourite vehicle the Big Torino,Being a sly reference of Grand Torino and Nimbus being the Infamous Warthog from the HALO series,i’m not sure if Pulse is from Starship troopers as the flavour text says,”wanna live forever?!”but driving iconic vehicles is amazing, and funny(which slightly changed names to avoid being pegged by Copyright XD)
-At times bugs can make the experience annoying to me, after playing for a GOOOD WHILE unlocking almost everything, several common bugs such as after dying and tapping the screen too fast after, to get back into the game, your vehicle may be stuck or still is dead or almost dead resulting a quick game over, another is when driving, at times i just randomly explode, other than that other bugs i found never really bothered me,aside from those two mentioned
+For my experience, the weapons are satisfying to use, for my experience the Undead set and the Mines, the damage feel stoic for certain weapons, and seeing enemy vehicles explode after you yeet that mine back is certainly satisfying, and with an assortment of weapons PLUS the twin weapon packs, its certainly allows a big playground of destruction, with the right vehicle and the right weapons, complimented by a skilled player, you can essentially live forever.
-After literally unlocking almost everything(Except the Lazer and Black Mobile Version two) i went to grind for oil for the last two mentioned, to my dismay i found myself locked off from doing any spins, i find it somewhat disappointing if it was intentional, maybe a means to strong-arm the player into purcashing the last items, but if it was a bug, then i would appreciate it being fixed.
In Summary: Fury Roads:Survivor is an amazing time killer if taken in bite sizes, be it waiting for a flight or a medical appointment, you can always fit a game in any time frame, a drop in drop out game, if you find a game lasting wayyy too long, jump out of bound and end it short, no problem,a very attractive selection of vehicles and weapons, some may be slightly dented apples, but the good ones are really good if you managed to find a particular favourite(be it Performance wise, aesthetics or nostalgia wise)you can set the world on fire and really engaged you. For the monetary flaws, it is obviously a free game, it needs a F2P model to support the devs, i find that the weapons are worth the price at times, but the mysterious vehicles are misleading, overall it doesnt slap you so hard to use real workd currency, the devs are even generous even to give you the arena, where everyone has a fair chance to get everything, and more for those really skilled players, i would hands down give this 5 stars if not for the flaws presented, i hope the developers will pursuit future endeavours or continue updating the game and adding more content.
Would i recommend this?: With my burning fury YES.
