Very easy to navigate lots of interesting programs. Easy layout

Overall a worthy app. Especially at the price. The audio is good feature although sometimes too fast and often robotic sounding. Wish irregular verb tenses were audible The quiz format while adequate is not necessarily the most engaging or learning optimized- would be interested in seeing it augmented by more interactive and varied game mechanics ala mind snacks( in contrast a very good game system but shallow in scope with no real grammar training and a very limited touristy vocabulary. ). There are typos and mistakes here and there but all in all the program is very thorough and basically covers 2 -4 semesters of a college language course. Considering its price, it should save you a few thousand bones and hours.

For the most part I like the app. It has a list of vocabulary words each with the audio. The audio is good although can be sometimes a bit fast. There is also a list of verbs and a list of common basic phases essential to someone who is planning a trip to France. There are grammar rules and tests just to give you the nuts and bolts to start with. Overall it's a great app but would like to see pictures with each word in the vocabulary. Maybe add more to really help the learner to engage more of their senses such as to read it, write it, see it, hear it, say it, then repeat it. Oh, and don't forget to review, review, review.

Just bought this app. I was working on the Listening exercise. Play the sentence, listen, and then choose which words you have heard. You can also slow down the sentence, enabling you to hear in a slower speed. If you choose the wrong answer(s), The app shows you the sentence, the answer(s) you chose, and the correct answer(s). Then you tap on the Ok button and the app goes immediately to the next sentence. At the end of the listening exercise, a page comes up with the Results of your efforts. Very nice. I hope that they can eventually add more data. But this is great, especially for a start.

Decent beginner/intermediate French review. I like the quizzes, but utterly hate the bimbo buxom Barbie 'French teacher' cartoon you're forced to look at. Please can't I have the option to change the background?? If it weren't so stupid, I'd say the creators were rather sexist. Get real - not all French students are hormone-driven teenage boys...
