Free Guitar and String Instruments Chromatic Tuner with Tone Generator - Apple Watch Edition

I’m looking for a way to read the pitch of stringed instruments for the purpose of tuning and repair. This app is the closest I’ve found, but unfortunately doesn’t pinpoint the value. It gets to within 15% and the reading makes quantum leaps as you tune up and down which are not tight enough for my purposes. For regular tuning (for players) it’s fine.

I was looking for a tuner that could tell you what pitch your string was at but it gave me a tuner that told you if you were getting the cords right. It was however one of the best free guitar tuner apps I could find for my Apple Watch. At first my guitar instructor told me it would be exactly what we were looking for after he looked at the ratings and what it was about a little, but even after he saw the app he said it wasn’t really a good fit for what we wanted. This app would be great for people who are looking for a tuner that tells you if your playing the cord right but it was just more than what I was looking for. I feel like this would be a great app if you not only put the tuning for the cord but if you also put the tuning for the strings. Im really sorry for making this super long I just wanted to state my concerns my issues and the positive sides of the app. I also know that some of the longest reviews can get to the top. Anyway thanks for reading this and I hope some of you guys find what your looking for in this app.

If your a musician playing guitar, ukulele, violin, etc. this Pro Tuner is for you. It easily lets you accurately tune your instrument with precise pitch at a touch of a button. I also love it to get the frequency in Hertz (Hz) for notes like (A) is equal to 440 Hz. All you have to do is hold it near your iPhone's microphone and it picks up the exact note and frequency in the display. I give Pro Tuner my 5 Coconuts! Coconut Ron (Ron Ajemian - New York)

Simple to use, effective. Nice since it shows actual Hz not just too hi or low. For kids who could tune it way off, that’s better because simple ones can assume the wrong target note. Will also give tones too. Fair price!

The app and interface are great. Love the inclusion of guitar, ukulele, violin, viola, and cello. Interface and tone generator is intuitive and clean. Issue: the chromatic tuner shows the correct frequency in Hz but the "needle" is always showing that the tuning is too low. To get the tuning in the green, the note is way too sharp. Some sort of calibration is off. If this is corrected it is a hands down five star app.
