FRACTER

This game had a complex design and gave such a unique experience. Every turn leaves you on the edge of your seat with suspense as to what could be around the corner. I thought the music was lovely and when felt like I was in a Horror Film at times. However, the game is far too short! I’m glad there was a sort of storyline to follow and that it didn’t take forever to get to the end, but it could have lasted A LITTLE WHILE longer! I mean, there are only 7 levels essentially! And I completed the whole game in ABOUT 5 hours.... and I’m being generous. I just got the game Tuesday and have played it every so often and it’s now Thursday! 😳☹️🥺 Also, I saw others mention the controls being a bit glitchy and not being able to see things on certain levels, but I think everything fit together. You can move the controls around in settings. And yes, at times I tried to click on something and the joystick would react instead, but it’s a mobile game. That’s to be expected. And it’s in Black and White with a shadow tone to it, so I think NOT seeing everything is sort of the point. Or at least part of the set environment. So, I would say if you want to play a unique game that has a story filled with mystery, suspense, beauty, and horror that is short and sweet.... this is the one. I was pretty upset at just how short this game was, but it earned its 4 stars due to the obvious time and effort put into the 7 levels.

Good game. A couple of gripes: -it is hard to see the altitude of different surfaces on level 6, maybe a hue change to make it less difficult to distinguish -two places I had to redo a level three or more times: level 6 after pressing the button to reset the cube for the multiple levels, and level 7 at the top of the stairs after completing the giant shadow maze, I just fall off to the side and see the infinite gray vertical line. Still can’t figure out how to get out of that one and don’t want to do the maze for the fourth time:( So work those out and I’ll wait for an update. This by the way is nothing like Monument valley, totally different concept.

I got this game several months ago but stoped playing it when I got to level 5 because I got really stuck. So where I’m stuck is the puzzle where you have to get the giant block over the maze that you twist when you stand on the lighted pad. I have been able to get through all the puzzles until this one and it makes me sad because I think that this game is really cool. The music and animation are wonderful, and unlike most games I’ve played it has a meaningful plot line. The poetry is beautiful. I saw that the developer responds to the reviews which is cool so I hope you can respond to mine. Thank you

And the recent update has definitely really improved the controls for character movement and puzzle solving (great job, devs!)...also, the added audio is great adding more to the atmosphere and immersion. And the lighting effects are really beautiful to look at in this dark world. The only small issue is there is still some slight lag on my iPad Pro 10.5, but it’s not overly distracting or game-ruining. Hopefully that can be fixed permanently in the future, but otherwise, I think this is a fine addition to my iOS library.

I used to be a gamer and I can say some things about Fracter it’s intelligent, mystifying, fantastical, and for for a person who likes brain or puzzles games like myself I love it. If you are interested in puzzle games that deal with something slightly magical encourage you play Fracter It’s great Until you’re almost about to finish the game. You don’t wanted to end! I hope that they make part two or real system game out of this! Please tell me that you’re going to make part two! Thank you, Roberto Fidencio Ramos
