Folk Music Notebook

‘Folk Talk’ was great! For me, it was an extension of being at the Hobo Convention last month. The program had music, interviews, stories and history of Hobo culture! I was proud to have my music included! ...and, Rik Palieri’s program led me to the app for ‘Folk Music Notebook’! It was in the nick of time as I had grown weary of my same old playlist. So...on Monday & Tuesday I listened into Folk Music Notebook on the App during my drive from Massachusetts to Florida. Great music, many of my friends. It put my mind squarely in Folk Music as I rehearse for a few shows in the sun.

No need to wait for that public radio show that plays “our music”. Here it is 24/7. I’ve heard so may artists who are new to me. Love it.

I just discovered this through an email from Christine Lavin. What a treat this will be. Folk artists old and new... I love it. There’s certainly no place to get great programming like this...thank you!

Thanks to Folk Music Notebook we get to hear so many wonderful artists who are not normally played on the radio or other internet locations. Thank you!

What a nice way to get a break from the constant hammering of news, relaxing with such a great variety of folk music.
