The castle of Fleckenstein brings the home of the 16th century to life with a augmented reality mobile application. With his device, the visitor makes a 450-year leap into the past and discovers the monument at the time of its architectural heyday. This virtual guide reproduces the entire castle and six buildings partially or completely disappeared in 3D. Selected: the first gate of the castle, the north facade, the barbican and drawbridge, the tower of the well, the seigniorial house and the chapel. At the touch of a button, it is possible at any time to switch from the current state of the monument to that of the 16th century and to access the corresponding historical information.
