Firefox Fast & Private Browser

Overall, it performs as a solid browser. I do wish that side-by-side website reading would be allowed, as in Safari. The browser tends to reload tabs in the background -- unlike Safari -- which can be annoying when reading long pdfs (especially without side-by-side reading supported), or when switching apps. I think it would be especially useful to have separate workspaces for personal, work, etc. like in the desktop version. This would be great in general and for shared devices.

I have one request; can you add the option of hold-selecting a link and give the option of adding that link to read-later or to an offline reading list? Otherwise I have to open it, and then options and then add to reading list - which kind of takes away the utility of having the reading list add option button. Love the in built night mode and the display options; was the deal-maker for me, besides the above.

Although it’s a shame Apple doesn’t allow web browser apps to use their own rendering engine. Apple destroyed the HTML select box drop down by turning it into that horrible scroll click thing which takes more taps to select items and harder to use. Apple really doesn’t want web browsers to shine because that would compete with their precious native apps.

Perfectly serviceable browser, I appreciate the privacy and it works well. Slower as late but that’s probably just because of the recent household switch to the NBN. My problems stem primarily from design changes. Why does dark mode have such a glaring keyboard? And more importantly, why is the fox becoming less fox-shaped?! Nobody cares that it looks more streamlined and smooth, in fact that is worse. If this continues, what will become of our fox friend? It may seem a childish complaint, but I worry for the fox. Return their leg to them.

I loved this app and the seamlessness of sending tabs to and from my Firefox devices. However in the latest update they’ve changed the look of private tabs, they used to be signified by a black theme with the purple mask shown at the bottom of the page, however now in the new update they look near identical to a regular tab with the only signifier of a private tab being an even smaller version of the purple mask symbol. Really hope the UI team bring the old layout back!
