Find my Hearing Aids

To get the app to progress I had to pair a device. Unfortunately, the hearing aid was not one of the devices. The next screen asked if I was looking for 1 or 2 hearing aids. I pressed 1 and put the other one in its case and even removed the battery. I pressed next and it proceeded to find my paired device. Over the next 30 minutes it found my iPad, Apple TV, Bose Bluetooth speaker and Samsung smart TV. But never the hearing aid. I’m very disappointed. I gave it 2 stars because it was able to find paired devices, which could be useful. Unless I am missing something, I can’t recommend it.

I wandered around getting what I thought were false readings for a while. After a lot of creeping about the house I eventually got a strong reading around my kitchen sink. My hearing aid was down the sink disposal — thank god I didn’t do the dishes yet. The false readings were probably the plumbing pipes ducting the Bluetooth signal inside them. Overall I’m amazed that this app actually works. Price is a bit ridiculous, but it did save a lot of headache time and effort - not to mention the replacement insurance premium. Take word from a doubter who hates to be ripped-off — don’t hesitate, download this app and you won’t regret it.

I used to take my hearing aid batteries out every night before bed and sometimes when I am where hats and now masks out doors. If you remove your battery obviously Bluetooth is disabled and the app is useless. Now I leave the batteries in at all times and the app has helped to find my hearing aids in the garden, between the seats in my car and even at the golf course. Great app, well worth every dollar.

I feel the instruction could be better. I was not sure exactly how to use it. I have origin hearing aides about 1 year old. Lost one. But the other in my case as instructed and started looking. I could not hear anything with no hearing aides. Maybe that is not how this works. I am used to hearing it on my iPhone and on my iPhone watch if lost. It said close to hear or something. I went into different rooms and it said the exact same thing so I had no confidence at that point. I rolled my bed apart and found it in between the mattress and the box springs. Whew! I think having initial page explaining how to operate this would be great. It automatically paired up with my watch and I am not sure if that is even a good choice or not. My other hearing aide was not a choice.

I have a hearing aid and periodically it goes missing. The one responsible for its disappearance is Murphy, my cat (although I shouldn’t have not left it out in the first place). The other day I was looking all over the house and couldn’t find it. I sat down very frustrated and then I remembered this App,“FindHearAid” downloaded it and found my hearing aid in less the 10 minutes! It was under the stove. Definitely recommend this app!
