It looks like they’ve removed the “illegal encampment” report option, which is why I’m giving them two stars instead of one. I’m giving them two stars instead of five because it was there in the first place, and never should have been; that was a truly disgusting move designed to punish people purely for being too poor to afford the skyrocketing Seattle rent — thanks gentrification!

The reviews ‘Is Anyone There?’ And ‘ ...Useless’ are very unfair about the great effort Seattle is making to keep our City pulled together. I get that they didn’t get an immediate response but I can’t see how they don’t understand that it’s a big city and things get addressed only as the resources are available - that’s true for everybody on a personal level and more so on an institutional level. I use this app a fair amount and I can see the results as well as email explanations of where the request got routed and when it’s likely to be addressed. They also give me links that explain policy and programs that the City has enacted. All that is really useful and it should be appreciated that the City cannot control the bad behavior and irresponsibility that cause many of these issues in the first place. They are reaching out to the general public for an extra set of eyes to help keep up. I think that’s great, I’m proud of our city for doing it and I hope they keep Findit Fixit going.

Don’t usually write reviews but felt that I needed to counterbalance the reviews that were not about the app itself but about political aspects of having the app This app allowed me to easily report needle use and discard at a children’s playground and public indecency in front of a library. As a parent in Seattle, I’m glad to have a mechanism to report this to the city.

Have made 5 or 6 reports of traffic signs knocked down, potholes, and the like. Issues always fixed within a week, and in some cases, the next day! Thanks to those to developed this app and to those who respond to the complaints.

Great app. Easy way for me to report homeless people littering/screaming constantly at the top of their lungs on drugs. I will be reporting using this app as much as possible, making an effort to use it even more than I normally would, solely because it triggers, rofl
