Federal Rules of Evidence (LawStack's FRE)

As a practicing criminal defense lawyer as well as the law school professor, I find Title 18, as well as the Illinois statutes absolutely indispensable to my practice. The choice is easy. An app on my iPad with everything, or carrying around 1000 page book. More over the search function from the older additions has been significantly improved If you practice criminal law, defense or prosecution, get this app!

Having the current rule with its comments is so much better for me. Our book has the old wording next to the new ( great for people that are used to the old wording but this is my first exposure) and the comments separated and at the end of the book. This resource makes finding and understanding the rules much easier.

Although this only covers the Federal Rules of Evidence, most states adopt similar rules and organization. This App is useful for both civil and criminal attorneys, and even petitioners and those considering filing a small claims case. Definitely worthwhile for those interested in law.

Very useful app. Only glitch seems to be the rotation. It can be rather tricky to get the screen to rotate in this app and stay that way coming in and out of the app. Other apps don't have this issue (i.e. they remember their last setting).

This is an invaluable resource, which is easy to use. It's so much better than flipping through a hard copy between committee notes just to find the rule. Great App!
