Farm At Hand

My husband and I are beginning to use this app to get on the same page. Seems like we are never working on the farm together so we are hoping this will help. I love the equipment category, I can tell him to get a filter in town or part and all he has to do is look on the app. He likes the commodity part because it keeps track of what he's sold in real time at a glance. One thing I would like to see is if a change is made by another user that it would show that change somehow, like a push alert or a highlighted number on the menu.

We have been using Farm at Hand in our operation for the past 3-4 years and have been more than happy with the app. In our operation, we have found the premium subscription to be well worth the money. We use the Crop Planning feature every year to plan our planting. The customer service is top notch. They always respond in a timely manner and are extremely helpful. Farming is a very broad industry and varies so much region to region, but they are always willing to listen to critiques or issues with the app and they do a great job at addressing them. They also do a great job at listening to the input from growers using the app, and then implementing new features/changes based on that input. This app is great for tracking day to day field operations, crop planning, crop storage, etc. I highly recommend this app to any farming operation looking for a farm management app!

I just started using the application a month ago. It has been a great tool to plan and manage our farm operations. But the most impressive is the customer support. I have been in contact with Eric who replies to me five minutes after I post a question. They are also taking into consideration in a very serious way the recommendations from our end to add capabilities. Our farm is located in Puerto Rico which is a tropical crops operation.

As a farmer I am constantly looking for a decent record keeping app especially when it comes to maintenance recording. As farmers know a lot of repairs happen in the field and away from your desktop. This app is great for that as I can enter it from my phone, iPad or computer. It also has a record of part numbers for each individual machine which makes it very handy at the parts counter for getting the right part. The other great feature is my hired men can log on and input records also as I am not beside every repair that occurs. Finally they have a great chatting feature that has a very quick response. I have talked to them twice and they responded within minutes. That is the reason for the 5 stars as I feel if I do have a suggestion they will take it seriously.

I'm trying to get out of carrying my notebook everywhere so I thought I'd give this a try. You can't go back in time using the calendar (all notes are dated on the current date), but you can get the correct date by making notes in other areas. I haven't figured out how the grain bin storage can be replaced when the wheat is trucked and the beans go in. Other than that, This seems to be doing what I need it to do. *****UPDATED***** Well.... I tried the new update. The server was down. Unfortunately, I needed the information then, because I was ordering my fertilizer. So, I ended up having to go home to my trusty notebook and call the dealer back. Please realize when we use your software, we are putting a piece of our livelihood in your hands. For now, I'm giving up on the app as my primary and going back to the notebook. It hasn't let me down yet.
