I love this app but there needs to be 2 main improvements. The video recording should have a slow mo feature but more importantly should include sound so you can monitor your reaction speed. Secondly, and this is my biggest gripe about the app, is that there NEEDS to be a minimum whistle speed. There are soooo many swistles it’s absurd. I would say 1/4 whistles come imedietly after set and it’s annoying bc it’s a waste of a rep essentially.

The app is great for what it does, but they could and should add more too it. I think if they added videos to help people it would be worth the $2. Another addition could be that the app would record you and you watch your faceoff after.

This app is overall an amazing app to use if you are a face-off specialist. But the only problem I have with the app is that while you’re getting faceoff reps in, the app will turn off and you have to turn on your phone again, and by the time you turn it back on you have just wasted one rep

Im a face off guy and this app has helped me so much, it's great for practicing real time face offs. Keep up the great work FOA!

As an experienced face off guy who is committed to play at a high Division 1 level, this app solves numerous problems I have had over the years. First, the ability to train with whistles that randomize themselves at my preference is a life saver. Too many times I had begun to subconsciously memorize the whistles I was using, despite the fact that they were on an iTunes playlist set to shuffle. The FOA solved a problem that too many face off guys have run into. Also, at the $1.99 price tag I can understand people's hesitance to purchase the app. However, if you are a face off guy, young or old, who is serious about the position and mastering it this app is a necessity. Getting better requires putting the work in and this app makes it a lot easier to get out there and get the necessary reps in. Overall this is a great app and the guys at the FOA have hit the nail right on the head. A brilliant app overall.
