EVsmart allows you to find charging spots for Electric Vehicles (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Vehicles (PHEV), including the option to search by specific car model. The app currently allows you to search for charging spots within Japan. Finding a charging spot can be major concern for EV or PHEV users traveling long distances. This app allows you to easily search for charging spots at your current location or at any point on your intended journey. EVsmart features include the following: -Search charging spots by car model -Search via a map, your current location, a place name or address -Search for fast charging spots only (e,g, Tesla, CHAdeMO) -Calculate distance from your current location to a chosen charging spot -Route search function from your current location to a chosen charging spot (using your choice of Apple or Google Maps) -Highly accurate and detailed information about charging spots and their plugs -Possibility to share charging spot information on social networks -Submit and share up-to-date information by posting photos or comments -Alarm setting to notify you of charging end time We are constantly updating the app to provide more useful functions and information for EV and PHEV users. For each charging spot, the app provides detailed information including the number of plugs and their connector shapes, so that you can be confident that your car is compatible. [Accurate and up-to-date data] Official charging spot information from the CHAdeMO association is supplemented by user reviews and additional information checked and curated manually by our staff to insure it’s up to date. [Easy to use and speedy screen transitions] Just tap the app, and if location tracking is enabled on your device, all charging spots in your vicinity are displayed. [Search not only from the current location, but from place name or address] Avoid range anxiety by easily finding any charger between your current location and destination [Share information through user reviews] Submitting a review is easy, and you can post pictures by tapping on the camera icon, so you can help other users locate chargers in those hard-to-find spots!
