As a Vantage dealer for almost 20 years I am very disappointed in this app. Everyone I’ve talked to has the same criticism of this app: Why don’t they have a page which mirrors the keypad buttons like the old app? Even tech support thinks that’s a good idea but nothing ever happens to improve it. The company is very unresponsive in that regard. And if you live outside of a major city you better forget about using the weather page on this app because it will probably not give you the proper weather location. Complaints are met with excuses from tech support as to why they can’t fix this issue. I bet they’d fix it if all of LA was getting the weather forecast for Las Vegas. Oh and for all of this you get to pay $$$$.

This app is apparently “abandonware” even though the company behind it is large and well-funded. At least half the time when I try to launch it, it cannot start because it gets stuck thinking the controller firmware is version 0.0.0.0. I then have to reset the controller to get the app to launch successfully again. Vantage is supposed to be high-end, luxury automation, but my experience suggests that they are way out of touch with the trends that are shaping the modern app experience. How they can fail to support iOS better, or Alexa, is beyond my understanding. Legrand and Vantage Controls should wake up and start updating this technology and making it more robust and reliable.

I've had this Asp and an entire household vantage system for three years. Never has it worked remotely as promised, despite numerous of informing their tech support of the problem. They could not care less. Unless you have WIFI, forget remote access to your system-- and even then, it's completely unreliable on WiFi. Thousands of dollars of so called high tech lighting control systems, and these guys can't even figure out a very basic issue that much less and certainly cheaper system providers do well -- and without issues. I would look elsewhere...garbage app written by idiots! I'd rate 0 if I could.

There is no reason why this application could not be more intuitive more reliable and not interfere with simultaneous applications running on the same handheld device. This is a poorly designed app that needs to be upgraded! Very disappointing. Home automation is a huge investment and you would think Vantage would make more of an effort to keep pace with competing technologies. Will not work with iOS 12 or newer. Just called tech-support. Very unresponsive. Said it will be “fixed next year.” No other input. Very poor customer service.

in this time of technology you can not control this expensive luxury automation system with apple home kit !!!! thats why there is no Siri control , difficult no navigate , no enhancements in UI and UX , thats why i disappointment why i choose vantage system in my castle , i rather to install small apple home-kit enabled devices rather that the existing vantage 1/4 million $ system !
