You can then choose yes or no. You can also choose to always auto-park, or to never do that in that parking zone. When you drive away from auto-zones you will be asked if you want to end the parking. You will receive a digital parking ticket. The parking attendants can see that you have an active ticket for your registration number. All active tickets have an expiration time that applies if you do not finish the ticket earlier. You can adjust the expiration time at any time and wherever you are at.
