This new update is screwed up, thanks for fixing what wasn’t broken. I had two working sensors that all I had to do was walk by and download the data points, walk away with em! Now not only can I not see the old ones but it doesn’t show any new points either... still shows a perfect connection and green success but whatever! Glad we got that stupid image of the guy with a dumb look on his face though

I don’t write many reviews, but I have to write about this one. First it takes about a minute to set up. The apps is so easy to use. It has all the things you need to monitor temperatures of something. In my case it’s my pool water temperature. I used to own a $150 temperature data logger that was not nearly 1/10th of this unit. It was a pain to use with data transfers. The only thing I would suggest is to have different types of temp probes or sensors. For example: if someone cooks beef broths over night, the metal probe should be long enough (8”) to avoid greasy fats and heat. I like the magnetic back so that you can attach the body to a metal panel. Please make it stronger. I don’t mind paying more if you make a commercial unit. Good job!

It worked great, until it didn’t. Now the app won’t even launch. I’ll update my review if you just fix it to the way it was before! UPDATE: Formerly 1 star. At least the app will launch now, and connect with the unit so that I can monitor temperature in my fermenter. It is still sorely lacking in how it displays the historical trend. Very clumsy. Should be able to zoom in/out on a time period with ease. Also, allow me to input digits for the temp/humidity ranges that I want to set, not just by using the sliders.

Seeing current temperature and humidity is OK - but the historical data section is simply bad. Looks like that the app retrieve each time all measures since you powered it on. But bear in mind that I’d you remove the battery you will restart the monitoring from 0... The trend chart in historical Data page is not practical at all- you should be able to zoom in out in the trend. Software engineers: There are so many open source libraries to do that!! Nothing rocket science!

An update a few months ago rendered the app and sensor completely useless. I tried it again today to see if any of the updates fixed the issue. App crashed on startup as before, however, this time I completely deleted the app and re-installed. Voila able to run app and read sensor however all data is gone. At least it’s working again!
