I think the comparability scoring system is great. And from what I saw, the personality quiz was quite accurate. I understand these things need to and should be paid for but I don’t want to be tied into a 6 month subscription without knowing much about how the app works. I’ve sent 2 messages and can no longer read messages from a potential match because I haven’t paid. I don’t even know what they look like yet. It’s too much commitment in my opinion. I would’ve considered a month at a time but 6 months as the shortest package is way to steep for me. I’m going to find out how to delete my profile. Thanks anyway eharmony

They have done something with the app and it’s dreadful despite some ‘bug fixing’ updates since it went wrong. I often get the same photo on a number of profiles, (Dan, 34 from Ealing and Steve, 39 from High Wycombe shown as the same person). I initially reported these as dodgy profiles but then realised it was the app not the user! Other times photo on the ‘outside’ of the profile different to once you look at the whole profile. Sometimes name is shown as ‘information not entered’. Who knows what my profile appears as to other users! There is always a risk when meeting people from such apps which I and I am sure the majority of users accept but this makes a mockery of it as I simply can’t trust what I am seeing. Would expect more from a subscription service which is why I signed up in the first place. Think a refund is due to be honest!

The so called upgrade had made this so much worse! It used to be manageable to keep up with the matches sent each day but now you just have to plough through them all with no easy way to see if you’ve looked at them before. When I first logged on after the change I was told my profile didn’t have enough info so had to answer more questions but most profiles I look at have hardly anything completed. There are loads with either no photos or appears no photos on the search screen but sometimes there are if you go into the profile. There is no way to filter out the ones with no photos. Won’t be paying any further subscription and wish I hadn’t paid for a year.

This app is awful, expensive for nothing! I wish i’d spent my money elsewhere. It doesn’t even match you with anyone remotely close to what you’re looking for so what’s the point in the algorithm test??!! I opted for someone with no children, it matches me with someone with THREE children! Not to mention everyone seems to live 200km away. Majority of the matches don’t even have pictures!! Internet dating or blind dating??? I don’t want to see profiles with no pictures or incomplete profiles. As a customer, I’m paying a lot of my hard earned money to use an app that half works. This is pathetic! Don’t promise something you cannot deliver! Even Tinder is doing better at this rate. Don’t waste your time downloading this!

Glitchy, expensive trap. Profiles without information, or pictures - not at all reassuring/trustworthy. Doesn’t feel safe. After 2 weeks using it, I became very uncomfortable and wanted to cancel but have been bullied into 12 months subscription, even though I no longer have the app/use the app. Not sure what I get for the service, apart from feeling conned. There are many more apps that seem more trustworthy, you get more for the service you are paying for and are flexible in subscriptions.
