I use this app daily to do the math for me when eating and correcting for high Blood sugar. It works good except for two issues. First, the calculations for straight correction is wrong. It is truncating and not showing the correct result. Second, it doesn’t auto log. Every time I hit the calculate I would like it to log. I have used the app to find my dose and given to myself and then I forgot to log the does in my meter app. Later I realized it and has to go back to the app and my food app to recalculate the dose. I would like to have just looked at the app’s log feature. Yes, I could hit “log” each time but I don’t. Third, I would like to better analyze carbs to dose ratio and to do this I need to export that data in multiple chunks like food part and correction part as well as carbs. Even more, I’d like to look by time of day slots to see variations in requirements by TOD. Forth, this one isn’t an app problem so much as an ecosystem one. I would like the app to read my meters BS and enter it for me automatically. Maybe read the apple health app data? Then to top this off, I would like it to read the carb data from the food app I log my food with as well. I know dreaming a bit but nice.

I like that you can enter your carb ratio and correction factor however it is not creating a log for me. That’s very frustrating as I need to see the history of my sugars and insulin. I would not have paid for this app if I knew it would not create a log.

I use this to monitor my mom's diabetes and have found it to be very accurate and easy to use, even for her. It also allows me to send dosage history directly to her doctor. Highly recommend giving this a try!

This app is a piece of junk! I got it because someone in a group recommended it. It will not show the entire screen and won’t let me swipe up or to the side to see and enter things. Support is non existent, when you click on support it takes you to a page that no longer exists and I am unable to use this app. Save your 2 bucks and your sanity do not buy this app.

Be careful with this app long. Still checking the calculations with a calculator because I don't trust it. Set up to input calculations is not easy to figure out. The app is not user friendly for kids or adults. Have been using Insulin Units for a couple years but if I update to the new IOS the app isn't supported. Would love for the creator of Insulin Units to update that app. It's by far a better design.
