Easter Now

This app is great for bring to life the events of Holy Week. You get a notification when each major event of Holy Week occurs. So Thursday night (modern calendar time) at 6PM, when Jesus is sitting down with his disciples for the last supper you will get a notification explaining what happened, what verses you could read related to this event and how this event builds thematically upon the other events of the week. What is the connection between the last supper and the cross? What about the various locations? This app explains these things with maps and succinct information.

I’ve taught Bible to high schoolers in a Christian school for many years, and yet this simple app taught me a few new things that have moved me powerfully. We called it our Easter Advent time. Living far from some family members, we “Zoomed” with them each evening for that day’s reading, then briefly discussed. This time was a treasure for our older parents. Highly recommended, and thank you to the creators!!!

I really struggle to read. The text being a gray color is hard to see. The text needs to be darker. What I have managed to read has been great. Would love to see the words more easily.

I’m really enjoying this app so far. It adds a new dimension to Easter week. The only reason I give it four stars is because of the light gray text they use that makes it hard to read. I hope they make more apps for the other times of the year.

As a “newer” Christian, this is definitely going to be helpful for me. I am going to make a plan to sit with my husband and daughter and read these with them. I think I downloaded it right on time! 😍
