Drillaby Pro Speech Therapy

Since I purchased Drillaby Pro I have had nothing but problems. Initially, it would crash as soon as I tried to open the app. Now, even though I purchased the Pro version, I only have the option of selecting /k, g/ phonemes. Previous Review: I just purchased this a week ago. Whenever I open the app and hit "Play", the program crashes and I'm back to my home screen. Help! Have deleted and uploaded several times. How can I get my money back?

The Drillaby Pro app is an engaging and helpful tool for SLPs and families to use with their students/kids to practice target sounds (k, g, t, p, v, f, sh, ch, and l). It can be used by one student at a time and allows you to differentiate practice, easy, medium, or hard depending on the child's level. You are also able to have students practice speech production on the word and sentence level. I like that the child has to meet a specific level of accuracy before being able to move on. As the child moves from easy to hard, the level of accuracy needed to move on increases as well. There are two things that I would like to see updated. First, you are unable to see the recorded results unless the child completes the whole sticker book. Second, once a word card is presented you are not able to skip it or go back, you have to complete the stars. Bottom line, I think this is a great app for articulation drills in therapy and for home practice. I'm looking forward to the addition of s and s blends!

I love this app for articulation drills. It has built in repetition of each sound. This is an important feature because repetition is vital to artic practice and kids often get irritated with me if a word is presented once and I go outside the app and ask them to repeat the word additional times. The app also collects data automatically that can be shared via email. This app is engaging. The kids I work with enjoy looking for the hidden words and earning stickers throughout the game. This app has become one of my very favorite speech therapy apps.

I love the drill feature without the feeling of drill!!! In the "easy" mode, kids have the opportunity for 60 reps, and in the "medium" and "hard" modes, the reps increase to 100. My young clients get the amount of repetitions they need in order to acquire skills quickly and in a very motivating way! The reports generated are also nice for data keeping. The app version for parents is a great resource and extremely helpful for promoting carryover at home!

This app is so great for kids who need repetitions but have trouble sitting through drills! My patients can actually play this game by themselves with cues from me and have an opportunity to evaluate their own productions. Drillaby is so motivating that my patients will ask to play it and practice for the duration of the game. Easy, fun, parent friendly, motivating, great way to get a lot of reps of target sounds.
