Daikin developers - can we get the room temperature on the app? The “Master” icon on the home screen doesn’t match up with the wired remote controller’s room temperature. Overall, the app still has some issues in connecting and signing up for an account. The basic features are there but is just short of being awesome and user friendly. Will revise star ratings if developers decide to give basic information such as room temperature.

The app is horrible and, when you look at the review history, apparently Daikin doesn’t care and will never (?) improve it. It’s an utterly basic app, yet fails at basic tasks. For example, given you easy access to your HVAC controls: The app is very quick to automatically log you out and in order to get back in you have to type your email and a pretty complicated password. There is no FaceID. No pre-filling of at least the email address. No option to switch it off (not even for a let’s say 2 weeks). I have to type in basically every single time....and that’s complete misery if you are in bed at night trying to change the AC setting. Daikin developers. What’s wrong with you? This is a freaking AC system, not a banking app. Why are making it so difficult for customers to access their controls. Besides the log-in, it’s also slow to load which is stunning given that it has hardly any functionality.

Downloaded the app and went through Create Account. Despite many tries no confirmation email has ever been received. It is definitely not being caught by spam filters, it's just not being sent. Almost a month since I first posted this review and it still does the same thing. This app is pathetic. I am really really annoyed with my HVAC guy for installing this Daikin garbage.

Been frustrated since I installed the app and the company does not respond to question or provide updates. Continues to log off and requires log in and password to be reentered. Not sure why they can’t at least leverage the thumb print feature of the iPhone to make that less cumbersome.

I downloaded the new release, and receive an error message - “Ooops. Try again later.” UPDATED: the app is working now. Thanks developers.
